Following an encouraging Q2 appearance, Lance had hoped for better in yet another Grand Prix that proved the FW41 just doesn’t have what it takes. His tyres took such a beating he couldn’t make the most of an offset strategy. Austria was just more of the same as the head scratching at Grove continues.
