After finishing third in Canada, second in France, Max was ready for the next podium step at the Red Bull Ring. He made his case early on Sunday afternoon, blowing past Räikkönen and then waiting for the Mercs to self-destruct. With the Ferraris breathing down his neck in the final laps, Max was as cool as a cucumber in the Austrian high-temps to take his fourth GP success, much to the delight of a fervent orange wave of supporters.
