Lotus got the most out of its car this weekend but needed more action ahead if it was to score strong points. Grosjean was once again the quicker of the two drivers in qualifying despite missing FP1, but his advantage was minimal and he was shadowed by Maldonado to the line as neither driver could make progress on the soft tyre in the final stint.
