Not Sainz’s finest race, despite a clean qualifying finally allowing him to start from a more representative grid slot. Sainz looked competitive throughout the first two stints and seemed well-placed for points but complained of a vibration on his final set of soft tyres and was uncompetitive after the safety car period.
