Outqualified by team-mate Ericsson, Nasr showed promising signs to be pushing hard behind the lead Sauber. Ultimately, he was pushing too hard as Nasr struggled to keep brake temperatures under control before retiring when he spun off at Turn 13 as a result of the brake problems.
