Max Verstappen - 9th place, 2 points - 7.5/10
A solid performance from Verstappen who excelled in qualifying to qualify eighth but was already as high as the car was ever likely to finish. Like Perez, Verstappen ran long in the opening stint - rising as high as third - but lost track position when pitting and opted to pit again under the safety car but didn’t have the pace to challenge the Force India in front in the closing laps despite his tyre advantage. His fifth top ten in a row is a good achievement.
