Nico Hulkenberg - 7th place, 6 points - 7.5/10
Much to the home fans’ disappointment, Hulkenberg had the edge over team-mate Perez in race trim despite starting behind the Mexican. An aggressive strategy - Hulkenberg pit on lap 8 - paid off when the safety car came out following Vettel’s crash, allowing him to stop for a second time. Ultimately, the Force India didn’t have the pace to finish any higher, but Hulkenberg maximised its potential.
