Maldonado can probably feel a little unlucky as his run of three consecutive point-scoring results came to an end. Closely matched with Grosjean, Maldonado would have likely emerged ahead of his team-mate after his first stop but was held back by other traffic in the pit lane which cost him time and ultimately the final point on offer.
