Signs of promise but also an area for improvement starting to emerge for Stevens. Having been outqualified, Stevens was clearly quicker and moved ahead of team-mate Rossi in the first stint but struggled in the middle stint on the medium tyre and dropped back. Clearly happier on the soft, Stevens improved after stopping again under the safety car but couldn’t regain the position of lead Manor.
