Jenson Button - 14th place - 7.5/10
A good drive from Button, but it speaks volumes about Honda’s season that the biggest positive he took from the race was the reliability his car showed. Competitive in the corners, Button said the speed differential to the leading cars was “scary” on the straights. Managed his tyres well and was able to push in the closing laps to catch Nasr, eventually finishing just 12 seconds off the points (before Massa’s exclusion), which was better than McLaren expected pre-race.
