Jolyon Palmer - 11th place - 8/10
As debuts go, Palmer can be proud of his first grand prix even if it didn’t deliver points. A number of scraps in the middle of the race saw Palmer defend impressively from the Toro Rossos in particular, and at the time it seemed he would be rewarded with a top ten result. In the end a lack of incident ahead resulted in points being out of reach but Palmer impressed by getting the better of team-mate Kevin Magnussen over the weekend.
