Sebastian Vettel - 3rd place, 15 points - 8/10
This was a race Vettel really should have won, but he was also far from his imperious best. Vettel’s start was pretty much perfect and he led in to Turn 1, with his opening stint opening up enough of a gap to suggest he could win from the front. Ferrari should have put Vettel on medium tyres during the red flag period, but the four-time world champion was unable to extract enough performance from his supersoft tyres after the restart and then couldn’t find a way past Hamilton in the final stint, with an error at the penultimate corner limiting him to third.
