Charles Leclerc, Ferrari (P2) 9/10
Charles Leclerc’s afternoon in Mexico City was a tale of one naughty moment and 70 laps of pure class. His Lap 1 off-track excursion at Turn 1 saw him briefly lead the race, only to hand the position back to Norris like a kid caught stealing cookies. From there, it was a lonely but flawless drive, with Leclerc stuck in a no-man’s-land between Norris’s dominance and the chasing pack. That is, until Verstappen started breathing down his neck in the final laps, turning P2 into a heart-pounding defensive mission. The race's timely VSC saved his bacon, but make no mistake - P2 was thoroughly earned.

Lando Norris, McLaren (P1) 10/10
Both off-track and on, Norris has become way more confident, assured and hungry to win that maiden Drivers’ Title. And for the first time since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix six months ago, the Briton leads the Drivers' standings ahead of his McLaren teammate. The 25-year-old absolutely dominated proceedings in Mexico City, qualifying on pole by almost three tenths of a second and leading every lap of the Grand Prix on his way to victory by over 30 seconds. Now Piastri is looking like a lost puppy. Has the pendulum shifted?
