F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix

Gabriel Bortoleto, Kick Sauber (P10) 8/10

Points looked unlikely for Bortoleto after he lined up in 16th on the grid, but the Brazilian turned his weekend around with a brilliant Sunday drive. The rookie gained three positions on the opening lap, gained another place on Sainz with an enticing move on lap nine, and made the all-important overtake on Hadjar for P10 around the outside at Turn 1 with less than ten laps remaining. A gutsy and determined performance from Bortoleto in the race.

Esteban Ocon, Haas (P9) 7/10

While somewhat overshadowed by his teammate, Ocon quietly bagged two two points at the Mexico City Grand Prix. From P11, the Frenchman was already in the points after the first few laps, and consolidated his position in the top ten with keen racing and overtakes. Ocon was rewarded for his consistency at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez with a P9 finish.
