F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix

Franco Colapinto, Alpine (P16) 3/10

With nothing to lose, Colapinto opted to extend his first tyre stint by starting on a set of white-walled hard tyres. Alternate strategy or not, the Argentinian was driving an Alpine, and thus was resigned to the foot of the field regardless. The French outfit is still cooking a disaster and giving serious 2019 Williams vibes at the moment.

Pierre Gasly, Alpine (P15) 3/10

On previous race weekends, Gasly has been able to muscle that tractor of an A525 around racetracks and challenge for the occasional point or two, but recently his team have taken yet another step back. They are now so much slower than the rest of the field that not even an accomplished driver as Gasly can do anything except swiftly fall to the rear of the running order in the first few laps and remain there for the entirety of the 71-lap event. Another Alpine flop.
