F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix

Alexander Albon, Williams (P12) 5/10

It’s been a few races in a row now where Albon has struggled with niggling issues on his Williams car, with braking problems the order of the day at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for the Briton. Starting on the hard tyre also proved to be the wrong decision, as Albon fell away from his competitors in the first half of the race. Bolting on a set of soft tyres on lap 42, the Williams driver surged his way back up the running order but gave himself too much to do, eventually seeing the chequered flag in 12th place.

Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull (P11) 4/10

Yuki Tsunoda’s race was a masterclass in watching Max Verstappen make him look average. Both started on mediums, but while Max flew, Yuki sank like a stone, overtaken left and right. A better second stint couldn’t save P11. The Japanese driver is full of good will but he's definitely no Max. And Red Bull know it.
