F1i Driver Ratings for the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari (P8) 6/10

A ten-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage felt harsh when lap 1 was a free-for-all. To add to his troubles, the off-track excursion had damaged the floor of his SF-25, which compromised his performance for the remainder of the 71-lap event. After such a strong qualifying display, the seven-time World Champion was understandably upset to cross the line in a lowly eighth.

George Russell, Mercedes (P7) 6/10

George Russell’s radio rants were the highlight of his race, raging about corner-cutting and begging to pass Antonelli. His Mercedes lacked the pace to catch Bearman’s Haas, and P7 felt flat. Six points for the drama, but he needed more speed than sass.
