Daniil Kvyat - 12th place - 6/10

Kvyat has made a bit of a rod for his own back by saying he should be fully up to speed in the Toro Rosso by this stage, which means his performance relative to team-mate Sainz is a bit of a disappointment. Sainz looked quicker in qualifying but did push the limits too far, which should have seen Kvyat scoring points if either Toro Rosso was going to. From 15th on the grid, Kvyat jumped Grosjean at the start but then lost out again a lap later, leaving Sainz directly behind him. From there he described his race as “boring”, losing ground at his first stop and then fading in the closing laps.
