Carlos Sainz - DNF - 6.5/10
Qualifying is the part of the weekend which will have annoyed Sainz as he dropped out in 13th place while team-mate Daniil Kvyat managed to qualify sixth. In the race itself Sainz started from 18th due to a gearbox change and was showing a good recovery, running as high as eighth before his pit stop. However, his race didn’t last much longer as a suspected rear suspension problem caused him to park the Toro Rosso at Turn 1.
