Felipe Massa - 12th place - 6/10
Williams went for an aggressive three-stop strategy - running three stints on the ultrasoft tyre - but all it appeared to do was drop Massa back into traffic and give away crucial track position too often. Had been hampered in qualifying by the yellow flags but climbed into the top ten in the opening stint of the race before a short stint on supersofts failed to yield significant progress. Was unable to use the pace of his final set of ultrasofts as he failed to pass Gutierrez, though the top four lapping him late on broke that fight up somewhat.
