Nico Hulkenberg - DNF - 6/10
A very good performance in qualifying saw Hulkenberg line up eighth on the grid and in with a good chance of outscoring the Williams drivers. However, he was hurt by his own excellent start as he tried to squeeze between the Toro Rossos - both overtaking the slow Verstappen - and hit his left rear against the front right of Sainz’s car, pitching the Force India into the pit wall just a few metres past pole position.
