Lewis Hamilton - 3rd place, 15 points - 6/10
It may seem an overreaction after a podium, but this was a weekend to forget for Hamilton. The defending champion failed to get comfortable with his car - hampered by a lack of running in FP2 - which proved crucial. Confidence is key on street circuits and Hamilton didn’t have it, but he also has a tendency to have a negative mindset when things aren’t going his way. Credit to him for some impressive laps around his final stop as Mercedes found a way of getting him ahead of Kimi Raikkonen, but this was a Hamilton far from his best.
