A race hampered by a poor start and traffic, Verstappen will have been left frustrated after seeing how close Red Bull came to winning. The bad start was almost expected due to clutch concerns, but he was delayed behind the two Toro Rossos after that during the first stint. It must be said Daniil Kvyat got the better of him in their personal fight, but Verstappen was not reckless. The biggest negative of being stuck behind Kvyat was overusing his tyres, which meant Verstappen needed an extra pit stop and finished over a minute adrift.
