Esteban Ocon - 13th place - 7/10
Ocon was left frustrated after qualifying but responded with a strong race as Manor’s upgraded Mercedes engine ensured the team was competitive throughout. The Frenchman was caught up in a number of incidents including early contact with Magnussen and a later clash with Nasr which damaged his front wing. The Nasr incident was simply hard racing and the Manor had the pace to hold off the Sauber, but he shouldn’t have ended up touching with team-mate Wehrlein late on when both cars were on course to finish so strongly.
