Carlos Sainz - DNF - 6/10
Sainz did not suffer in the same way as Kvyat in FP1 but was limited in the second session in the same way as his team-mate. Was comfortably outqualified and was struggling somewhat in the race - forcing Grosjean off track at Turn 11 - before a gearbox problem was triggered by being hit from behind by Palmer at Turn 17, forcing his retirement late in the race to cap off a miserable weekend for Toro Rosso.
