While he is Monegasque, the French would certainly like to claim him as one of their own! Charles advanced to Q3 on merit and started his 8th Grand Prix from P8 on the grid and was sixth after the end of lap one. A fourth top-ten finish in five races could bring the Scuderia to give even more consideration to pairing Leclerc with Vettel, who is a big fan of the youngster, in 2019.
