As early as FP1, Brendon knew that he was in for a long race. A full power unit change sent him to the back of the grid. So, he didn’t force anything in Q1 and did a good job in avoiding the opening lap mayhem to pick up a few spots, only to lose them with a car that just hasn’t been on the pace of late.
