Titles can’t be won at the first corner, but they can be lost. While he had nowhere really to go he could have done better than spinning Bottas around at Turn 1. He had another contact, with a Haas, before coming in to change the Ferrari’s nose, then had a run in with Alonso at the very tail of the order. Messy stuff from Seb and unworthy of a four-time world champ. But, he salvaged 10 points and now it’s on to Austria.
