Lining up next to Ocon on row two, Checo also enjoyed a great start, and on the Kemmel straight he went to the inside and was in the mix among the top four as the head to the braking zone. He made the most of his team mate’s wise decision to let up. Later on, Verstappen had no troubles getting by while Bottas needed a few more laps to overtake him. The double points finish for the Pink Panthers provides incredible relief for a squad that just a few weeks earlier wasn’t sure it still had a future.
