Hamilton’s pole run in the wet was another stellar performance as he bested Vettel by 0.7s. But Lewis knew that if it stayed dry on race day he would have nothing for the Ferraris, who were in a league of their own all weekend at Spa. And, on the first run towards Les Combes, Vettel flew by and even the Force Indias were a threat. He cut the deficit to Vettel in half after his pit stop but he never had a fighting chance. Monza promises more of the same.
