Kevin Magnussen - 17th place - 6/10
The Renault was never going to be suited to Monza and so it proved as Magnussen was the penultimate car running at the chequered flag. A good start saw him scrapping with Button but he dropped behind Felipe Nasr and team-mate Jolyon Palmer by the end of the opening lap. Then had to avoid the pair colliding at the start of lap two, but was running 16th as a result. Despite further retirements of Pascal Wehrlein and Daniil Kvyat ahead of him, Magnussen went backwards and lost out heavily on lap seven when Ericsson, Button and Gutierrez all passed him on the same lap.
