Felipe Massa - 9th place, 2 points - 7/10
While Williams regained fourth place in the constructors’ championship, it could - and perhaps should - have been better had Massa not underperformed in qualifying and dropped out in Q2. The upside of starting 11th was the ability to start on the soft tyre, and Williams stayed on the softs for the second stint. A strong final stint on supersofts from Massa almost allowed him to get Perez, but the Force India was just out of reach. It’s the first time he’s scored more than one point in a race since the Spanish Grand Prix.
