2016 Italian Grand Prix - Driver ratings

Motor Racing - Formula One World Championship - Italian Grand Prix - Practice Day - Monza, Italy

Sebastian Vettel - 3rd place, 15 points - 8/10

Ferrari arrived at Monza on the back foot and with Sergio Marchionne saying it has failed to hit its targets this season. A power unit upgrade helped deliver a step forward and Vettel made a good start to challenge for the lead at Turn 1. Dropped in behind Rosberg and then couldn’t match the Mercedes pace but looked comfortable against Raikkonen as Ferrari stuck to an aggressive two-stop strategy. More like the Vettel of last year, maximising the car’s potential and making no errors.
