Marcus Ericsson - 16th place - 6.5/10
Aside from a small incident with Button on the opening lap which saw the McLaren take to the gravel and drop to the back of the field, this was a lonely race for Ericsson. Started on the soft tyre and ran as high as 12th in his opening stint but was already back in 15th by the time he fitted mediums to run to the end. Was overtaken by the quicker Gutierrez and Sainz in the final stint, but didn’t have the car to defend.
