Verstappen complained of a poor balance in free practice, but he was back on form in qualifying. Well decided to hold on to third place, Max force the issue by cutting the chicane and hit Raikkonen. All, except for Max, would agree the five-second penalty was justified. Later on he was on the receiving end of Vettel's high-risk move at Spoon. Despite some damaged aero bits, he used the softs to close the gap to Bottas late in the race and then had the gall to accuse the Mercedes driver of also missing the chicane. When it comes to Max's maturity, its two steps forward one step back.
