Well done to all at Renault for the fast work to mend Hulk's car after a big off in FP3. They thought they had Q2 pace, but fell .0045s short. Nico was the only driver to start on mediums, but the safety car quickly squashed that strategy, his rivals switching to the whites and set to go to the end. After his stop on lap 30, he was at the dull end of the order, before something eventually failed at the rear of his R.S.18.
