Hamilton clearly had Bottas' - and everyone else’s - number all weekend long. The Finn whinged about a lack of stability on Friday, but was happier in qualifying, where he was quickest in sector one, but finished 03.s adrift of Hamilton. Once they cleanly got through Turn 1, it was game over for the Finn. Verstappen on fresher rubber late in the race became a threat, but Bottas was never bothered on his way to runner-up finish number 7 of the season.
