Max Verstappen - DNF - 7.5/10
Was voted driver of the day but had blown his chances of a podium with a strange error. Beaten by Raikkonen off the line, Verstappen fought back and was catching Rosberg and Ricciardo ahead of him in the second stint. Any anticipation of the potential fight that would follow was soon ended, however, as Verstappen came into the pits a lap after his team-mate without having been called in and lost a lot of time. The mistake saw him drop comfortably behind the Ferraris and then a gearbox problem saw him retire three laps later.
