Daniel Ricciardo - 3rd place, 15 points - 9/10
Ricciardo could have played a big role in the drivers' championship with his performance in Austin, with only the timing of a VSC preventing him from doing so. A good start and well-judged move on Rosberg left him running second and Ricciardo was quick enough to keep the Mercedes pair honest. Rosberg would have had a tough time passing the Red Bull for second place on track but Ricciardo's final stop came before the VSC and dropped him behind the Mercedes. Got everything out of his car, but luck didn't go his way.
