F1i's Driver Ratings for the Japanese GP

Kimi Räikkönen (P5, 10 pts): 7.5/10
In qualifying, Kimi found himself in the same 'twilight zone' type of a situation as his team mate, but kept it together to slot in P4 on the grid. And he had reason to be optimistic about a podium finish. But that was before his run-in with Verstappen at the chicane. The contact led to damage and a loss of downforce that hampered his speed relative to the leaders. And if anyone needed more proof that the team has thrown in the towel, they didn’t even bother to ask the Iceman to let Vettel by.
