Jenson Button - 12th place - 7/10
You have to feel for Button, who never seems to get the rub of the green at his home race. Qualifying was a disaster as a rear wing problem saw him drop out in Q1, and although the conditions were ones he usually excels in, Button had too much to do from 17th on the grid. Rose as high as 11th as he was one of the few drivers not to make an obvious mistake at any stage, but couldn’t quite stay in touch with Kvyat in the fight for the final point and then lost out to Massa - who was on fresh slick tyres - in the final few laps.
