Marcus Ericsson - DNF - 6/10
Admitted his huge crash in practice was simply his error as he underestimated how slippery the astroturf would be on the exit of Stowe, and it was a mistake which cost him dearly. Sauber had to rebuild the car and Ericsson missed qualifying, but was desperate to race and took the start despite saying he was “very sore”. Wasn’t showing any signs of being affected by the crash before an electrical problem stopped him.
