Rio Haryanto - DNF - 5/10
While Manor enjoyed a top ten result in Austria, its lack of downforce was exposed at Silverstone as both drivers retired at Turn 1. Having not looked comfortable on intermediates, Haryanto was on slick tyres but already a lap down when he lost control at Turn 1, overcorrecting a slide and ending up against the barrier on the outside of the corner. A shame as he had shown more of his raw pace to outqualify team-mate Pascal Wehrlein.
