Valtteri Bottas - 14th place - 4/10
A case of going backwards quickly for Bottas throughout the day as he really struggled with the troublesome Williams in the wet. Starting sixth, Bottas was ninth after switching to intermediates but then had a spin at Club, with the car seemingly determined to swap ends on him as he corrected it three times under braking before it finally went round. On mediums he dropped as low as 15th after being passed by Felipe Nasr, but at least had the pace when the track dried sufficiently to get back ahead of the Sauber. Said himself it was a weekend to forget.
