Max Verstappen - 2nd place, 18 points - 9/10
After his impressive qualifying performance, Verstappen was immediately in attack mode as he put pressure on Rosberg from the start. Provided the highlight of the race with an excellent move around the outside at Chapel which had the fans on their feet, and then showed some of the race craft which Toto Wolff described as “sensational” to hold off Rosberg for a number of laps. Eventually dropped to third when the track dried but was promoted to second again as a result of the championship leader’s penalty.
