Daniel Ricciardo - 4th place, 12 points - 7/10
Hardly a terrible race for Ricciardo, but he was completely overshadowed by Verstappen all weekend. For the first time since the new pairing was formed, Ricciardo was outqualified by his team-mate but hoped it was a sign he would have the better race pace after being beaten in Austria and Canada. However, Ricciardo was hampered by the Virtual Safety Car as he pitted a lap before it was deployed, while the leaders all stopped under the caution period and Sergio Perez jumped him at the same time. Once ahead of Perez, the gap was too big to bridge.
