Kevin Magnussen - 17th place - 6/10
A case of the same old story for Renault at Silverstone, with the car’s lack of overall pace limiting what the drivers can show. Wet conditions should have helped but neither made any real progress and Magnussen had dropped behind team-mate Palmer during the pit stops, failing to make much of an impact in the opening part of the race. The car lacks overall downforce which made progress very difficult before a gearbox concern brought Magnussen’s race to a slightly premature end.
