Jenson Button - 13th place - 7/10
McLaren got its strategy wrong with Button, attempting a two-stop race on the medium tyre but just falling back through the field and eventually switching to a three-stop. He fitted soft tyres to try and make up ground in the final stint and closed up on Alonso but the tyres wouldn’t hold on and he faded in the final few laps. Realistically, the strategy wasn’t great but the pace wasn’t there either.
