A very disappointing race with tyre degradation proving hugely problematic for Palmer. The British rookie had a solid start but lost temperature behind the safety car and couldn’t get the first set of tyres to work properly after that. Really needs to understand what went wrong as it compromised his whole strategy and left him last on the road.
