Fernando Alonso - 12th place - 7/10
The fact Alonso called completing a race distance in the car says it all. McLaren just wasn’t quick enough to score, which resulted in the two drivers finishing close together on the road. Alonso benefitted from the safety car in terms of track position but starting on the soft tyre it didn’t really help his cause as others could save time when pitting to get rid of supersofts. At least proved his fitness after his heavy crash in Australia.
